HOUSING NEW ZEALAND CORPORATION

Housing New Zealand Corporation is currently upgrading more than 1,500 housing units for older members of the community.

For the past 5 years Henshaw Group has been very successful in winning work offered via tender, which has consisted of a huge variety of projects from redecorating and alterations to major layout reconfigurations and renovations.

The kitchen refurbishment included new cabinets and drawers.	New plumbing, hand basins and fittings were a part of the bathroom upgrades.	A new exterior paint job completes the renovation.

Whether the job has been to refurbish a kitchen and bathroom or to remodel a one bedroom unit into a two bedroom unit, all Henshaw Group’s projects have come in on time and on budget, contributing to the improvement of Auckland’s Pensioner Communities.

Housing New Zealand has high expectations and maintenance contractors are monitored closely by their Property Improvement Quality Team. This practice aligns closely with Henshaw Group’s own ‘in house’ quality control processes and Health and Safety practices, and has resulted in a successful and positive working relationship between client and contractor.
